There are many elderly citizens living in residential homes or alone in their own homes, many of whom have no families or friends to visit them. With the best intentions in the world, many elderly people can feel lonely, and forgotten. Let us stop a while and give a thought to the much forgotten senior generations of our world. Taking an idea from the fantastic quilt projects we have seen organised worldwide on the internet, we thought it would be nice to put together a collection of stitched items to be donated to residential homes or individuals who live alone. |
